Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all appointments, packages, gift vouchers, and services provided by Kaizen Remedial Massage Therapy (ABN available on request), operating at Hotel Indigo, Potts Point and Elixr Health Club, Bondi Junction. By booking an appointment or purchasing a package or gift voucher, you agree to the following terms.

1. Bookings & Payment

 

All appointments must be booked in advance. Full payment or a deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. We accept payment via credit/debit card, bank transfer, and other methods as displayed at checkout.

2. Cancellation Policy

 

We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

 

    • Cancellations with 48+ hours’ notice: No fee applies. If you have prepaid, your payment will be held as a credit toward a future appointment.

 

    • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice: A cancellation fee of 50% of the session fee applies.

 

    • No-shows (failure to attend without notice): The full session fee will be charged. No credit or refund will be issued.

 

We understand that emergencies happen. Cancellation fees may be waived at our discretion in exceptional circumstances.

3. Refund Policy

 

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on prepaid sessions, packages, or gift vouchers once purchased.

 

If you are unable to use a prepaid session due to a cancellation made with sufficient notice (48+ hours), your payment will be retained as a credit toward a future booking, subject to the expiry terms outlined in Section 4 below.

 

Refunds will only be considered in the event of a service failure on our part (for example, if we cancel your appointment and are unable to reschedule within a reasonable timeframe).

4. Packages, Prepaid Sessions & Gift Vouchers

 

The following expiry terms apply:

 

    • 5-session packages: Valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

 

    • 10-session packages: Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

 

    • Gift vouchers: Valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

 

    • Credits (issued in lieu of a refund): Valid for 6 months from the date of issue, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

Packages and credits are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Sessions may be used at either of our locations (Potts Point or Bondi Junction).

5. Late Arrivals

 

If you arrive late to your appointment, your session will still conclude at the originally scheduled end time. The full session fee applies regardless of the time you arrive. Where possible, we will do our best to accommodate a reschedule.

6. Health & Safety

 

Please inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, medications, or contraindications prior to your appointment. Kaizen Remedial Massage Therapy reserves the right to decline or modify treatment where it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for your current health status. This decision will always be made with your wellbeing in mind.

 

If you are feeling unwell on the day of your appointment, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. We appreciate your consideration for the health of our therapists and other clients.

7. Private Health Insurance

 

Remedial massage services may be claimable through private health insurance where you hold an eligible extras policy. Claim amounts vary between funds and policies. Please check with your insurer prior to your appointment. We are not responsible for any difference between the amount charged and the amount reimbursed by your fund.

8. Privacy

 

Your personal and health information is collected for the purpose of providing treatment and managing your appointments. We handle your information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. Your details will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

9. Changes to These Terms

 

Kaizen Remedial Massage Therapy reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on our website at kaizenrmt.com.au. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
